The Evolution Tattoo Aftercare Guide

A great tattoo is a partnership. We do our part in the chair, and your aftercare does the rest. Proper healing is what keeps your tattoo looking crisp for decades.

Leave the initial bandage on for the time your artist recommends. When you remove it, gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap. Pat it dry with a clean paper towel, never rub.

Apply a thin layer of the aftercare product your artist recommends, two to three times a day. Too much product can suffocate the tattoo, so keep it light. Your skin should be able to breathe.

Avoid direct sun, pools, hot tubs, and soaking the tattoo while it heals. Do not pick or scratch at any scabbing or flaking. Let it fall away naturally.
